New Sun The Clean Energy

OUR PROJECT

Solar system Installation in six (6) Karamoja schools – Namorotot, Kaurikiakine, Koya, Kalosaric, Lokekui, and Nabokotom primary schools

The ambition

In the sun-deprived region of Karamoja, a UN agency, with its mandate of Children’s rights to survival, protection, development, and participation discovered a critical gap – many schools in the area lacked basic lighting energy at their premises. They contacted us to design, supply, and install solar lighting systems for the above-selected primary schools in the Karamoja region.

The solution

Turning to us for a suitable solution, we proposed, designed, supplied, and installed solar lighting systems for selected primary schools in Karamoja. Our response was a tailored solar system, granting each school a 1500Wp solar output, coupled with substantial battery storage totaling 800Ah and an 800VA inverter.

The Results

This initiative not only addressed the immediate need for lighting but also laid the foundation for a brighter and empowered educational future in Karamoja.
